the holiday weekend was good, nice and relaxing as labor day should be. m worked some at home, but he's been pushing 60+ hours a week for like 3 months now. never fear, all hard work eventually pays off. plus he really loves the project he's working on, so that's a good thing.
we tried out m's new camera at our niece's 3rd birthday on saturday. the pictures turned out well, and of course the party was fun. the house was full of kids, and i couldn't help thinking that this will be a normal gathering for m's family, once all 6 siblings are married and with families of their own.
the rest of the weekend was spent watching dvds, namely the first season of House. we just discovered this show last week (upon recommendation from m's dad). i can't believe we didn't watch it sooner. we finished the set, but at least the new season starts next week. i think this is probably the best show on t.v. right now. well, at least one of the best.
