standing revised 

tonight was the first night that we (my co-workers and i) ate outside of the hotel here in P.R. i have to say that the food was fantastic, as i had been told to expect. i had some delicious conch in garlic sauce (a light broth with garlic, onion, and peppers). oh, and don't forget the large side of "sweet banana", which is really very ripe fried plantain (and what i've been looking forward to since i found out i was coming here). i love ripe fried plantains. yum yum. we're going out with some colleagues from the plant tomorrow night for dinner, so i hope that it meets tonight's standards.
