since blogger is now part of google, they are offering active users a gmail account (it's still in beta). i was a little bit skeptical of getting an account at first, but i thought about it the past few days and changed my mind. i figured i could use it for junk mail if anything, like when you have to register to view a site. i've now decided to use it to keep track of our bills, since it will be easy to find info quickly. if i like it enough, maybe i will abandon my hotmail account. probably not though. i only had two active (including work) email accounts before getting this gmail account, and two accounts are definitely not enough. plus, getting to test something new is cool.
