yes, i am still around. at least i think so. sometimes i have to look in the mirror to be sure. :) it's been a busy week-and-a-half for me at work, traveling a lot, and spending my time at home away from the computer. and since "my media list" isn't working right now, here's a summary of things that are keeping me entertained:
~ south: with the tides - one of the few recent cd purchases that i have made, and it is well worth the money. the album is very orchestral, with lots of strings and other things in the tracks. if you're a fan of britpop, this is a must have.
~ nhl 2004 - hockey season is back, and what better way to keep up with the teams than to play them. also, the skating has changed with this year and is more realistic. trying to speed burst in stride with skating is challenging, but m and i were tired of getting such high scores every game.
~ ssx3 - snow season is just around the corner, and since we missed last season, i'm itching to ride. the snowboarding in ssx3 is more fantasy than reality (anyone see the trailer?), but it's a whole lot of fun.
of course, i have been reading a lot on the plane between here and NJ. i bought anne rice's latest paperback for the sole purpose of having something light to read on the road. yes, pulp fiction is a guilty pleasure of mine, and blackwood farm fits right in. i haven't read rice much since high school, and i'm considering picking up some of her books that i've missed to take on my future trips.
