happy friday, everybody! finally the week is coming to a grinding halt. even though we've had a short work week, it seems like everyone was under a lot of stress. that's why i called this morning and made appointments for m and i to have massages after work. i am *so* looking forward to it. tomorrow we are supposed to pick up our puppy, and i want to make sure that we're relaxed and ready to fully enjoy the experience. i doubt that i will be able to sleep tonight, but that will mean we can hit the road earlier tomorrow to pick up our little guy.
it's so strange that we're getting a dog. neither of us thought we ever would, not because we don't like them, but because we weren't sure we wanted the responsibility. i guess it's all part of the changes that we go through when we "mature". or maybe it's part of the change that people say you go through when you meet the right person. well, take heart, friends and family, this is something that we have thought long and hard about. we really are ready for this new adventure (or at least as ready as anyone can be).
and yes, now you can say that you've seen it all.
