well, the snow is here. the city had a nice creamsicle orange glow to it last night, courtesy of the clouds, the falling snow, and the sodium vapor streetlamps. the scene was not quite so nice this morning, as snow turned to freezing rain, laying a nice layer of ice across a few inches of snow. it made the drive into work interesting. at least the city's vehicle depot (and salt silo) is on the same road that i take into work. they do a nice job of clearing that street.
anyway, all of that snow makes me want to be here instead of here.
today is my last day in the office for a while. i'm going back to the plant starting tomorrow and continuing for the next few weeks. i'll try to blog in the evening. and maybe some more today.
