if you haven't been there in a while, take the time to visit epitonic today. they've redesigned their site. it looks pretty nifty. they have added message boards for the artists and are now using google to search their site (much better than their old search feature). there are other nifty features that i'm not going to elaborate on, but you can check them out for yourself.
anyway, i was just wondering why so many good indie bands come out of scotland. i happened to hear the reindeer section on kexp (of course) yesterday. it's an amalgamation of artists from bands like belle & sebastian, snow patrol, moqwai, and others. epitonic has an album from last year available streaming for your listening pleasure. if you like folky, lo-fi, indie rock, be sure to check it out.
