an era has ended. my first car (a.k.a. walter) is officially gone. i had a choice between paying a $200 deductible and getting $500 from the insurance company to fix the car, or get $717 from the insurance company for the car. since the blue book value on it was about $400, i decided to suck it up and take the $717. hopefully i will buy a new car in the next week. it's really going to put me on a tight budget. oh well. good practice for living on a grad student's budget anyway.

i've spent the past few days sucked into this game. definitely fun. i hope it will keep me entertained after i beat it, because i won't be buying any new games for a while.
