it's been an interesting week. i haven't felt quite like myself since school got out. it always takes me a week to settle into a break, so i expect that it will take me a little while longer to settle into a longer break. i have relaxed though. after a maddening tuesday evening, full of holiday preparations, i spent wednesday evening on the couch with my coloring books and homemade fudge. last night, i re-entered the social scene in full force. i haven't been out in a while. it was great.
today at work has been nice too. usually everyone is rushed on fridays, but today has been pleasant. people are chatting it up, bosses are leaving early, and we still have leftover cookies from the holiday party.
