so the lightning did it! i fell asleep during period 3, but the game was pretty much wrapped up after ruslan fedotenko scored his second goal for the night. the flyers shouldn't have traded him. i saw a tampa fan holding a sign that said "stanley needs a tan", so i guess the cup will get one now. and now i feel like i've seen a piece of nhl history, since i saw the lightning shortly before the playoffs started; this is the farthest south the cup has ever been won (well, at least in the easter conference, dallas doesn't count over here).
man, i wish i could have been in ybor city last night. i can imagine there was quite a party!
