(sorry for the lack of blogging over the past few days. i've been really busy and also under the weather. yay for stress!)
well, the flyers managed to pull it off last night, forcing game 7 in the eastern conference finals. with less than 2 minutes left in the third period, conn smythe trophy frontrunner keith primeau tied up the game at 4 goals per team, forcing the lightning to meet them in overtime. then after philly dominated the shots in overtime, primeau assisted simon gagne with the final goal, also less than 2 minutes from the end of the period. m and i were watching the game in bed, and we both practially jumped out of the bed with that last goal.
i know i've said i don't care who wins the series, as long as it goes to game 7, but i would like to see the flyers pull it off. that way m and i can both root for the eastern cup contender. of course, if the lightning win on saturday, i'll be happy too.
