back in sunny florida this week, which isn't too bad of a trip considering the fact that it's about 20 degrees warmer here than at home. my travel plans were made last minute, and most hotels here were already booked up, so i ended up in the shiny new hard rock hotel. the place just opened about 2 weeks ago, and it is gorgeous. the room is one of the best i've stayed in, with Egyptian cotton linens, a large flat-panel TV, stereo, and cool art deco design. i just got in last night, so i can't wait to explore the hotel this evening and check out all the rock memorabilia and casino action (even though i don't really gamble). there are supposedly some KISS costumes here, and i definitely want to find those. i forgot the digital camera, so i guess i will be buying a disposable one tonight.
