wow, hockey is looking good this season. it sucks that espn is mostly just broadcasting the red wings (yuck!) and the avalanche (not too bad), but we can see the capitals on comcast sports network. they're playing pretty well. bondra and jagr are unstoppable. the flyers look good too (minus their loss to the devils last night). we're staying at home saturday night to watch the flyers at the caps. last week's game kept m's eyes glued to the tv, and hopefully this one will be just as exciting. it's so nice to see the teams in the east playing so passionately this early in the season. last year was kind of a snoozer and a big let down in the playoffs. hopefully someone will be able to de-throne the red wings.
