things i've learned in 25 years . . .
1. don't regret anything. learn from your mistakes.
2. don't live your life in fear of everything. that's not living.
3. honesty *is* the best policy.
4. communication is a very useful thing.
5. take two days off of work for your birthday if you plan on being out at midnight when it becomes your birthday. (i'll have to remember this one for next year.)
